Michelangelo Resort & SPAResort in Kos
At Vigils Mountain Resort you will experience the aromatic fragrance of the larches and pleasant fresh mountain air of Italy. At 1500 meters altitude, everything is different and you can look out into the tranquillity. Here you are in good hands. The warmth of the materials like wood, clay, and linen, is reflected in the natural cordiality of the people who are here for you. The five star modern designed hotel is elegantly embedded in the surrounding landscape of the car-free Vigiljoch in South Tyrol. Accessible by cable car within a few minutes from the village of Lana near Merano, the hotel features a marvellous view of the Dolomites.
The resort deliberately does without televisions in the 41 Superior and Deluxe Rooms and Suites and hardly anyone asks for them. Our multi-award winning ‘Restaurant 1500’ brings you fine flavours and gourmet cuisine. ‘Stube ida’ brings you South Tyrollean culinary traditions with a modern twist. Our Wine Cellar houses a prestigious collection of the best wines of the area and the world. We organise wine tastings and guided tours with our sommelier and can host up to 25 people for private parties here.
Vigils Mountain Resort is your perfect place for a wellness holiday and has everything from an infinity pool to a whirlpool, saunas, hammam, spa treatments to fitness and personal training. We have a weekly sports program and you can book private sessions, including aqua pilates, nordic walking, circuit training, running, archery,… We do a vitality check and work out a custom training plan if you book our Fit Week Package.
With our different open spaces and meeting rooms we can organise any event and celebration. In a place that is so far removed from all that is usual, with silence, nature and freedom plus a pretty chapel up the mountain, there is no limit for your dream wedding …
The hotel is built on ecological principles. The building is constructed out of renewable resources. The pledge to nature also continues in the details, like the clay walls and warm fabrics or the efficient use of water, paper etc. The kitchen mainly uses local products, preferably from organic farming.
