Playground Surf ResortResort in Mentawai Islands
Our boutique resort is set within a natural coconut garden on its own paradise island (a cliché perhaps, but there is really no other word for it). The beautiful sandy beach around the headland where the resort sits is lapped by clear, calm, aqua-toned waters with no offshore fringing reef, making it perfect for boat access, swimming and relaxing. Our resort based holiday is where we surf every day from our range of speed boats, around the entire Island chain of the Telo Island group, where there are literally dozens of great waves from 10 min to 60 minutes speed boat ride from our luxury home. Included in the package is your Island transfer to and from the Telo Islands and mainland Sumatra (Padang). This is either via air, with a service chartered by Susi Air or a fast sea transfer across the strait in one of Resort Latitude zero’s quality boats. This means all you need to do is get yourself to Padang airport and we’ll look after the rest from there.
Experience the best of both worlds. Sail the Mentawai Islands to south or Nias and Banyak Islands to the north aboard one of our yachts and then settle into the resort for a change of pace. When staying at the resort you will strike the local waves surrounding Resort Latitude Zero with our quality fast boats while enjoying all the creature comforts of resort living.
Jump onboard the charter boat Mangalui Ndulu or Nomad departing from the port of Padang and surf through the Mentawai Islands for 6 -7 nights ending at our Resort Latitude Zero in the Telo Islands. Or visa versa depending on our schedule. The following 7 nights will be enjoyed in our luxury resort where you will be surfing everyday a variety of waves for all types of surfers around the entire Telo Island chain from our quality speedboats.
Why not make that memorable trip of a life time last forever. Our professional surf photographer packages can be designed around your holiday option. Packages are than edited and shipped to your destination. Simon “Swilly” Williams and Mick Curley are both well-respected figures in the surf industry.
