It is known worldwide for being one of the best surfing spots in Costa Rica with a variety of world-class breaks offering ideal surf conditions throughout the year. Here you can experience the diverse wildlife while you share with people from different cultures and countries. Even though Santa Teresa is a small town, it offers a great variety of restaurants, bars, shops, activities, pristine beaches and spectacular sunsets. To the south, the town of Santa Teresa is just minutes from Latitude 10 by bicycle (we are happy to lend you one of ours). To the north are some of the Nicoya Peninsula’s most pristine and unexplored beaches.
“It was definitely a wow factor for us when we arrived at Latitude 10, were met by Hazel and handed a coconut with it’s cool water ready to drink, and shown to Master Suite B. We’ve stayed in some wow places but this was incredible. Tucked away off the road behind a big wooden gate with only the number 10 to identify it, it sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. It’s small and personal. The staff is always there to help with anything you might need. Our suite was stunning. Big bedroom, sitting room with plenty of space. An unbelievable outdoor shower area, wrap around porch; we tried to take advantage of all of it! At night after coming back from dinner, tea lights and candles lit all over the place. In the morning, waking to the howler monkeys, we were the only people on the beach; it’s great for shell collecting. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh juices and lots of choices; same goes for lunch. We never had dinner because we wanted to try some of the restaurants around Santa Teresa. We felt like we were in our very own villa. There were only two other couples when we were there and rarely saw one of them. At night listening to the crashing waves, is there anything better than that!! We just loved Latitude 10.”
